What we believe

Your finances make more sense when they are considered together.

A pension decision can affect retirement income. An investment decision can affect future flexibility. A mortgage, protection need or inheritance objective may change the wider plan.

Our role is to understand that wider picture before deciding what, if anything, needs to change.

01 / CLARITY

Understand before deciding

Financial planning should help you understand your position, the choices available and the reasoning behind a recommendation.

02 / CONTEXT

Look beyond one product

Where appropriate, pensions, investments, mortgages, protection and longer-term goals are considered as parts of the same financial picture.

03 / PURPOSE

Recommend for a reason

The objective is not financial activity for its own sake. Any recommendation should have a clear purpose within the plan.

How we work

A clear process from the first conversation through to ongoing planning.

01

Understand

We start with where you are now, what matters to you and what you are trying to achieve.

02

Plan

We bring the relevant parts of your finances together and identify the decisions that need to be made.

03

Recommend

We explain the options and, where advice is appropriate, provide a clear recommendation and the reasoning behind it.

04

Implement

Once agreed, we help put the recommendation into place and remain involved through the practical process.

05

Review

Where ongoing advice is agreed, we revisit the plan as your circumstances, priorities and the world around you change.

Who we help

Advice for the decisions that shape your financial future.

Some clients arrive with one immediate question. Others want help bringing several financial decisions together into a clearer long-term plan.

Approaching retirement

Bringing pensions, retirement timing, future income and wider assets together to understand what the next stage may look like.

Building wealth

Making considered decisions around investments, pensions and longer-term saving while keeping future objectives in view.

Protecting family finances

Considering mortgages, financial commitments and protection needs as part of the wider household plan.

Joining the pieces together

Helping when pensions, investments, property, protection or inheritance objectives overlap and one decision may affect another.

Why Patrick Wayne Wealth

Professional financial planning built around clarity and continuity.

Patrick Wayne Wealth is deliberately built around a close adviser-client relationship rather than making clients feel as though they are being passed between departments.

PERSONAL CONTINUITY

A clear point of contact

Patrick leads the advice personally, from understanding your objectives through to recommendations, implementation and agreed ongoing reviews.

JOINED-UP PLANNING

See the wider financial picture

Where relevant, individual financial decisions are considered alongside the other commitments, assets and goals they may affect.

PLAIN ENGLISH

Understand the reasoning

Financial advice can involve technical subjects, but the explanation should still be clear enough for you to understand what is being recommended and why.

ONGOING SUPPORT

A plan that can evolve

For clients who choose ongoing advice, reviews provide an opportunity to revisit the plan as circumstances, priorities, markets and legislation evolve.

Meet Patrick

Meet Patrick Salmon.

Patrick Salmon is Director of Patrick Wayne Wealth Management and has worked in financial services since 2007. His career began in mortgage advice before expanding into pensions, investments and protection.

That broader experience shaped the way Patrick approaches financial planning today: understand the client's wider position first, then work out which decisions genuinely need to be made.

Patrick remains personally involved in the advice process, helping provide continuity from the first conversation through to implementation and, where agreed, ongoing reviews.

  • Working in financial services since 2007.
  • Experience spanning mortgages, pensions, investments and protection.
  • A focus on clear explanations and practical financial decisions.

Ongoing financial planning

Planning is most useful when it can adapt as life changes.

For clients who agree an ongoing service, reviews provide an opportunity to revisit the financial plan rather than simply looking at investments in isolation. Cash-flow planning can also help explore how assets, income, spending and future goals may interact over time.

Cash-flow planning does not predict the future with certainty. It can, however, help illustrate different scenarios and make the trade-offs behind important decisions easier to understand.

  • Explore retirement timing and future income needs.
  • Consider the effect of major spending or gifting decisions.
  • Review whether saving and investment plans remain aligned with the objective.
  • Revisit assumptions as circumstances and priorities change.
